Another exciting night in a Montreal PUB!! 12 Bars of Christmas Saturday, December 20th
Make sure you read through the rules first Guest of Honor: JS Bleau

McKibbin's Irish Pub Cheers Grumpys O'regans Irish Embassy Cro Bar Brutopia Mad Hatters Ye Olde Orchid Thursday Ziggy Pub Irish Embassy
Note:
At any time during a transition from one place to the other a snowball
fight may accure (be prepared, snow or not). And the obivous,
apparently necessary stop to BOUSTAN for a food break.
Rules
Every
guest must buy the guest of a honor a minimum of one drink at some
point during the evening. It can be WHATEVER drink the purchaser wants
and the guest of honor MUST drink it regardless of what it is or when
it is given to it.
Should the official golf ball find its way into your beverage, you must finish your drink promptly (ie Chug).
No covers of any kind may be placed on any drink at any time to prevent entry of the golf ball
There will be a whistle bearer. The whistle bearer is responsible for three things
a. To decree a rule for the bar that he or she is in
power. This rule can involve drinks, food, general attitude Lets see
people get creative here. b. The whistle
bearer must decide when to leave the bar by blowing the whistle. When
to do so is at his discretion. However, if a bar is crap dont be a
douche and blow the fucking whistle c. The whistle bearer must choose his successor. The exchange of whistles is done at the exit of the bar.
The evening showed to be quite a success, besides the guest of honor getting "lost" before the last bar...

Captain's Dinner 2006

A message from South Korea...
Every now and then I check out the tmr site (okay - maybe twice a year
but better than nothing) to get some updates and view some pics. I
thought it was time to give some news. First of all, I want to say that there was nothing in
the world better than getting together with TMR RUGBY on Saturdays to
do damage around the league, the downtown area, and eventually, our
livers. Getting back to the clubhouse was equally fun and i miss all
those bbq's. it's so weird to have been a part of something special for
so long and yet now be so far away and out of touch. TMR rugby ruled my
life for the longest time. I still have the memories though, great ones
too!
I'm enjoying life in south Korea (hopefully we
won't get nuked by north Korea). Korea is treating me well. The one
thing i enjoy a lot is the food. And the one thing that drives me
insane are the drivers. If you thought Montreal had crazy drivers, you
ain't seen nothing yet!
Since getting married in 2003
a lot of changes have happened. My son Brendan is now almost 2 years
old and is keeping me busy. He's quite the little athlete and soon i
will start him up on rugby. Things have been pretty hectic and I'm
trying to juggle teaching at the university, working on my masters and
family life.
I played rugby for the Daegu dragons for
a couple of years. We toured the country playing military teams and
other amateur clubs. The great thing about rugby is you can keep
playing it until your bones get too brittle, and in my case, i almost
blew out my knee. My back, my shoulder, my brain... i think i've
finally hung up my boots. i must say it was fun running around all
these big american military boys.
I hope to come back
and visit with my beautiful wife and son next summer. if i do make it
back then i'll make sure to visit the club house.
Finally,
a big hello to everyone! to all the members past and present, young and
old, here and there - especially to the boys who I played with for so
long. And to Bob Swail for waiting 6 years for me to pay him back my
share of the motel bill (Saranac 2000).
Best of luck to everyone for the upcoming season! See you soon.
Cheers,
Freddy
PS - You guys should go and visit my bro at 'le pistol' on St-Laurent. He'd love to see ya all!
TMR 2025... Congratulations to JP + Fred!!!

Here's
a picture of the future TMR star winger!!! He's still at the hospital
but in great shape! Mother is just great and father... fantastic!!
Congrats to Laurent and Steph...

On the new addition to their family, Victoria!!!

Wedding of Charles André Martineau and Mélanie Bonanno made JP the
proudest brother in Town!!! Congratulations to Charles and Melanie!!!
Congratulations SUSY AND KARL!!!
WELCOME...

Be Generous to a member of the TMR Family
 Imagine
that you had one last evening with Pascal... to grab meal and enjoy a
couple of cocktails. Consider making a contribution to help with Lisa
and Charlie's current needs based on what you would have spent on one
last evening with Pascal. If you're budget for that evening would have
been La Queue de Cheval and a night enjoying the dancing at Chez Pare,
let that be your guide. If you're budget for that evening would have
been the Bar-B-Barn and a couple of beers at Ziggy's, then let that be
your guide. If you're a student and all you could have afforded was a
couple of dogs at Decarie Hot Dog and a pint back at the clubhouse,
then let that be your guide.
The amounts each person gives will remain anonymous, so just let your heart be your guide.
Thank you in advance.
I will be at the Captain's Dinner if you want to hook up with me then. You can also send a cheque made out to my name to... Contact Rob Hunger
