Rugby is among the most difficult sports for which to train. Athletes are required to engage in feats of strength at high speeds repeatedly for an extended duration of time.
Project Phoenix, led by Dave MacLeod, seeks to prepare dedicated TMR athletes as effectively as possible for the diverse demands that their sport places upon them. Sessions take place at UNI Training (www.unitraining.ca) at 1751 Rue Richardson, in the Nordelec Building on the 5th floor. Participants are cycled through a series of programs designed to improve muscle mass, strength, speed, explosiveness, agility, endurance, confidence and sex appeal.
